There are a lot of spiders out there. Some are poisonous, but most of them are not. The most common spiders to cause problem are brown recluse spider and black widow. The brown recluse bites are not common but they do occur. The brown recluse spider bite could sometime give a lot of pain, but sometime there is no pain at all. A person who got bitten by a spider should immediately go to the hospital and see a doctor. The doc will diagnose the patient’s bite. It might be something else. Then he will immediately start the treatment. One medicine that could be used is cortisone.

 

It is important to know what kind of spider bite it is so the victim could get the right treatment. The short term effects of brown recluse spider bites are often itching, fever, redness, blisters and swollen skin. Then after a couple of days the condition of the brown recluse bite gets worse. The recluse bite could be very painful and it could give large tissue damage and generate bite that looks extremely serious.

A lot of people think that Spiders are insects. But they are not. Spiders are predatory invertebrate arachnid arthropods in the order Araneae. The body of a spider contains two parts - the head part and the abdomen part. The two parts are connected through a stalk.

 

On the head part there are four pairs of simple eyes. Below on the head part there are two pairs of appendages. On each of the first pair of appendages there is a fang. This one is connected to a poison gland. The next pair of appendages is the leg like mouth organs that are also used as feelers and sex organs for the male spiders. The head part also has four pairs of legs.

There are three different spices of black widows. The southern black widow mostly occurs in the southeast of United States, northern black widow mostly in northern United States and southern Canada and the western black widow mostly occurs in western United States, southwestern Canada and northern Mexico. Black widows are often they are described like something like black shiney spider with yellow design on body.

 

Black widows mostly eat insects and other small animals. When their pray get catch in the web the secure the pray in the web and then it bites the prey and injects its venom. After about ten minutes the prey will stop moving. The spider will then spit up some enzymes that will make the preys tissue to be a fluid. The black widow will then take the prey and go back to its secret spot and start to feed. The female black spider usually stays very close to its web.
