There are a lot of spiders out there. Some are poisonous, but most of them are not. The most common spiders to cause problem are brown recluse spider and black widow. The brown recluse bites are not common but they do occur. The brown recluse spider bite could sometime give a lot of pain, but sometime there is no pain at all. A person who got bitten by a spider should immediately go to the hospital and see a doctor. The doc will diagnose the patient’s bite. It might be something else. Then he will immediately start the treatment. One medicine that could be used is cortisone. It is important to know what kind of spider bite it is so the victim could get the right treatment. The short term effects of brown recluse spider bites are often itching, fever, redness, blisters and swollen skin. Then after a couple of days the condition of the brown recluse bite gets worse. The recluse bite could be very painful and it could give large tissue damage and generate bite that looks extremely serious.
